На офіційній сторінці Громадської організації “Український Рух Пацифістів” у Facebook опубліковано привітання: “Шановні сестри, пацифістки! Ви несете тяготи війни нарівні з чоловіками, і завдяки вашим невтомним зусиллям ненасильницький спротив війні продовжується та простір мирного життя зберігається всюди, де ви поряд. Поздоровляємо вас з Міжнародним жіночим днем 8 березня! Миру, любові, рівноправ’я! Посилюймо жіноче лідерство в мирному русі! Пам’ятаймо про мирні українські корені свята!”.
Учасники Релігійної організації “Релігійна громада Квакерів: Збори Друзів України”, як і щонеділі, сьогодні зібралися для молитви під відеозапис, до якої можуть приєднатися всі, хто забажає; лінк Zoom для участі у молитовних зборах опублікований на вебсайті громади.
“Дух спонукав нас святкувати рівність і мир на молитовних зборах у Міжнародний жіночий день, згадати працю Маргарет Фелл «На захист жіночої проповіді» та внесок жінок-Друзів у розвиток інклюзивної демократії, ліквідацію рабства, смертної кари та ядерної зброї, просування прав людини та примирення між народами. Однаково страждаючи від війни та іншої темряви, чоловіки та жінки однаково покликані подолати її океаном любові та світла. Ми вдячні всім жінкам за простір повсякденного миру та любові, який вони створюють так, як не зміг би жоден чоловік, окрім хіба що нашого Господа Ісуса Христа” – пишуть Друзі у коментарі до відеозапису молитовних зборів.
Pacifist greetings and prayers for 8th March
At the official Facebook page of NGO Ukrainian Pacifist Movement, the greetings are published: “Dear sisters, pacifists! You bear the hardships of war equally to men, and thanks to your tireless efforts nonviolent resistance to war continues and the space of peaceful life is sustained everywhere where you are near. Congratulations on International Women’s Day 8th March! Peace, love, equal rights! Let’s strengthen women’s leadership in the peace movement! Remember the peaceful Ukrainian roots of the holiday!”.
Members of the Religious organization “Religious Community of Quakers: Meeting of Friends of Ukraine”, as every Sunday, gathered today for worship with a video record open to everyone to attend; a Zoom link for attenders willing to participate in the meeting for worship is published at the website of the religious community.
“The Spirit moved us to celebrate equality and peace in worship on the International Women’s Day, remember “Women’s Speaking Justified” by Margaret Fell and contribution of female Friends into development of inclusive democracy, abolition of slavery, death penalty and nuclear weapons, advancement of human rights and reconciliation among nations. Equally suffering from war and other darkness, men and women are equally called to overcome it with an ocean of love and light. We are grateful to all women for the space of everyday peace and love they create like no man could do except perhaps our Lord Jesus Christ.” – wrote the Friends in a comment to a video record of the meeting for worship.
